Passports - Hardin County Clerk of Courts

Applications for Passports and Applications for Renewals are available at this site or at the Clerk of Courts office.

First time applicants will need:

a completed Application for Passport
2 (two) passport photos (identical) that measure 2" X 2"
certified copy of birth certificate
photo I.D.

All minors require consent of both parents and the minor is required to be present in this office at the time of execution of the application. A total fee of $100 is required for each adult application. A total fee of $85 is required for a minor application. Please note that children age 16 and over will be required to obtain an adult priced passport. The processing time is approximately 6 weeks, but is subject to change without notice.

Applicants for renewals can determine eligibility to use the renewal form by answering the following:

		Yes	NO
A)	I can submit my most recent U.S. passport book and/or U.S. passport card with this application	____	____
B)	I was at least 16 years old when my most recent U.S. passport book and/or U.S. passport card was issued.	____	____
C)	I was issued my most recent U.S. passport book and/or U.S. passport card less than 15 years ago.	____	____
D)	I use the same name as on my most recent U.S. passport book and/or U.S. passport card.
	- OR -
	I have had my name changed by marriage or Court order and can submit proper documentation to reflect my name change.	____	____

Applicants for renewal will need:

Completed Application for Renewal
Your most recent U.S. passport book and/or U.S. passport card
2 passport photos (identical) that measure 2" X 2"
A marriage certificate or Court order if your name has changed

A total fee of $75 is required with each renewal application.
